Bruce Gallant, former Managing Director and Associate General Counsel of JPMorgan Chase, Joins Stroock in New York

New York, NY, September 8, 2016 -- Bruce D. Gallant, former Managing Director and Associate General Counsel of JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A, has joined Stroock & Stroock & Lavan LLP as Of Counsel in the firm's New York office, where he will advise clients on employee benefits, executive compensation, ERISA and related matters.

Mr. Gallant, who was also the Chief Fiduciary Officer for JPMorgan's institutional investment management business, has more than 15 years of private practice experience prior to his tenure at JPMorgan.  He has represented public and private companies, including broker-dealers, investment managers, investment banks and other financial institutions and organizations.
 
"Bruce brings to Stroock a wealth of industry knowledge from the perspectives of both a senior executive at a premier investment bank and as a lawyer at an international law firm," said Steven W. Rabitz, who leads the employee benefits and executive compensation practice at Stroock. 
 
Mr. Gallant earned a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania and a B.S. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
