Stroock’s innovative approach seeks to build our pro bono practice in much the same way we build our commercial practice areas. The Public Service Project has identified certain areas of concentration, such as community building, disability rights, schools and education, and women, family and children, without restricting numerous other ways in which our attorneys choose to render public service.
A principal goal of the PSP has been to involve more non-litigators (both associates and partners) in pro bono matters. Transactional opportunities pair pro bono clients and teams of our attorneys with a range of experience in tax, insolvency, intellectual property, employment, real estate and general corporate law.
Since its founding, The Public Service Project has been repeatedly recognized and awarded as an innovative leader in New York City pro bono services.
